Kawuki encouraged mobilisers to maintain their high level of commitment, reminding them that their roles are crucial to the Kingdom’s overall development.

He also urged them to strengthen unity within their Counties and actively support the County Chiefs (Abaami) in fulfilling their leadership responsibilities.

“Unity is essential for progress. Support your County Chiefs and work together to ensure leadership at the County level remains strong, effective, and responsive to the needs of the people,” he advised.

The Minister called for increased participation in the Tondeka mu Luwalo program, a key initiative promoting Luwalo and boosting agricultural development.

He stressed that Counties should implement systems to reinforce the prestige and credibility of County Chiefs, including ensuring officials are properly dressed and actively involved in ceremonial events.

“Your work is not just about implementation but also about setting a positive example for the community. Proper dressing, active participation in ceremonies, and maintaining high standards of leadership are critical in uplifting the image of our County Chiefs,” Kawuki said.

He further encouraged mobilisers to collaborate closely with their advisers (abaseesa), emphasizing that their guidance is invaluable in executing kingdom programs effectively. Kawuki highlighted the importance of knowledge-sharing and using all available resources to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives.

While commending the achievements across Buganda’s Counties, the Minister urged continued effort to strengthen service delivery systems.

“We have made significant strides, but there is always more to be done. I urge all of you to continue working together and pushing for even greater achievements in the year ahead,” he concluded.

The meeting provided an opportunity for Kawuki to engage directly with the County Mobilisers, offering guidance, encouragement, and direction for the year to come.
